Anti-panic day & night lock

Anti-panic function
A door with an anti-panic function can always be opened from the inside, even if it is locked from the outside. This is important for safety in case of fire or other emergencies: you don't need to use a key to escape.

Anti-panic function B = door handle inside and outside
Anti-panic function E = door handle inside, fixed knob or no handle outside
Anti-panic function EK = fixed knob or no handle outside, but can be electronically controlled and opened remotely

Mounting holes
Carefully check whether the screw holes in the middle of the strike plate are (symmetrically) located or placed off-centre (asymmetrically).

Measurements
Carefully check the backset (the difference can sometimes be less than one millimeter!).

Faceplate type
Many Schüco locks have a U-shaped faceplate, with folded corners. Sometimes a lock also has a flat faceplate, please check this.
