We differentiate between a tilt and turn window, a turn before tilt window, and a fixed window, among others. However, there are also other variants, such as a pivot window, casement window, or outward opening window. As you can imagine, the number of parts for all these different types is countless. Is it a window or a door?
Sometimes windows are produced at the height of a door. It then appears to be a door, but upon closer inspection, window hardware has been used. How can you easily find this out? The "door" opens inwards and has a tilt position. It's best to look at the type of handle used; compare your handle with the handles under the heading window handle or lockable window handle. If the handle is not listed, then look under the door handle category.

How do you determine the opening direction?
Stand on the side where you open the element towards you. So: you pull the door towards you. On which side are the hinges? That is the opening direction! So, if the hinges are on the right side of the door when you pull the door towards you, you need an RS version. For some items, it is also important to check whether a door opens inwards or outwards. As with hinges. Then you look at both the opening direction RS or LS and the opening direction for an outward opening door or an inward opening door.
